Ladies Day Trophy Nomination

The ELEMIS Ladies Day Trophy recognises the achievements and contribution of women in sailing across the board - from the Corinthian sailor and those overcoming difficulties in order to succeed in sailing, to those who have undertaken remarkable challenges or encouraged others into the sport.

In 2016 Paralympian Sailor Hannah Stodel was the eleventh winner of the trophy. It was presented in recognition of her achievements in sailing and for representing ParalympicsGB at her fourth consecutive Games at Rio 2016, competing in the Sonar event alongside John Robertson and Stephen Thomas

Nominations for the 2017 Winner

If you know of a female sailor, past or present, whose personal achievements or whose outstanding commitment and contribution to sailing are deserving of some wider recognition, please complete the form below. The only restrictions are that the nominated individual needs to have competed at the regatta in recent years, and be available to attend the Ladies Day reception on Tuesday 1st August, where the Trophy will be awarded.

Nominations close at midnight on Monday 17th July. A judging panel, consisting of last year's winner Hannah Stodel, Georgie Corlett-Pitt from Yachts & Yachting and representatives from Cowes Week Ltd, ELEMIS and LENDY, will determine the 2017 winner.
